All the activities that S.A. De Giacomo performs in the country are based and forged on a Quality System.
ISO 9001:2008 Certification
S.A. De Giacomo was the first customs broker to obtain and implement the ISO 9002 Norm. Currently S.A. De Giacomo is certified with the ISO 9001:2008 Norm for Foreign Trade process, issued by SGS International.
Q1:2008 Certification
In 2007, S.A. De Giacomo obtained the Q1:2008 Certification, issued by Ford Motor.
The Q1 mark is considered worldwide as an indication of exceptional quality.
Q1 Certification requires that a supplier's facility achieve excellence in four critical areas: capable systems, continuous improvement, ongoing performance, and, most importantly, satisfied customers.
To achieve Q1 certification, Ford suppliers must meet stringent criteria, including: International Organization of Standardization certification; proper implementation of quality operating and management systems, as well as environmental management systems and customer endorsements.
